Cancer Services of Gaston County, City of Gastonia Fire Department and CaroMont Health are partnering to provide mammograms to insured and uninsured women. CaroMont Health’s Mobile Wellness Coach will be parked at Fire Station # l, 260 N. Myrtle School Road, all day on Wednesday, October 24th. Mammograms are by appointment only.

For years, poor, sick members of Cleveland’s Asian community have been taking 8-hour bus rides to see doctors in New York City, where they say health-care workers understand their culture, paperwork is in their native language and they don’t have to wait days for an appointment.
